Please attend our test farmers market at Town Hall on two separate Thursdays this fall. Tell us what you like and what we could do better- so we can have a great market beginning in June of next year.
Due to a late start there will be only two farmer's markets at Greenburgh Town Hall this fall on Thursday September 30th and Thursday October 7th from 2 to 6:30 PM. Joseph Katona who has organized farmer's markets in other communities believes that a "test market" on two days this fall will enable farmers, town officials to test out the market , to learn from the experience, find out what works and doesn't work. And, to make adjustments for next years weekly market. We can then plan for a weekly market at Town Hall beginning next June that will even be more successful and popular. Please pencil in both dates on your calendar. We're hoping that the farmers market at Greenburgh Town Hall will be among the best markets in the entire region.
Special thanks to Town Clerk Judith Beville for chairing our farmers market committee. The committee has been working very hard. After you stop by at the market let us know what you liked and what could be done better.
Thursday’s: September 30th and October 7th
2 PM to 6:30 PM
