The Hudson River Museum is ecstatic to announce the reopening of the Hudson River Museum Planetarium on Friday, July 16, after being closed for 16 months due to the pandemic. During the 16 months, they took the opportunity to renovate the planetarium by installing all new seats and new carpeting.
The schedule for the summer will include Free planetarium show on Fridays at 6:00 p.m. made possible by Entergy. On Saturdays and Sundays there will be two shows per day, a program for children at 12:30 p.m. and a live show for general audiences at 2 p.m.
Capacity is currently limited to 60 seats per show (50%) and masks are still required util further notice; advance tickets are strongly encouraged.
