Yonkers Insider: Yonkers City Council 6th District.

 

We Spotlight The Democratic Party Primary for the 6th District on the Yonkers City Council. Retired Deputy Yonkers Police Chief Tim Hodges faces off against first time Candidate Stella Schwuchow. 

Stella has the Backing of the CSEA Local 9169 as one of her Endorsers in this Race. Hodges has the backing of the Yonkers Democratic City Committee and also of the Westchester Putnam Labor Body (AFL-CIO) for this race. 

Hodges brings with him to the table - Experience working in City of Yonkers for many years and being involved in the Yonkers Community. Stella brings with her, Many Years of being involved in the Community as well, this is her first run for 1st Run for Public Office. 

Stella has A Platform that is full of Solutions as to what will cure Yonkers of it's past problems. The Question being Execution, We shall see how this race evolves and Hodges is drawing from his Years of Experience of being involved in the Yonkers Community and his many years working in the Yonkers Police Department as well. We wish both candidates the best of luck in this race.
