We Spotlight the Most Important Race in our View and that is The Democratic Party Primary Race for Westchester County Legislator in the 17th District between Current Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado and his Democrat Opponents: Former Westchester County Legislator Virginia Perez and Community Activist London Reyes.

County Legislator Alvarado seeking a 2nd Term in his 2nd Time Serving on the Westchester County Board of Legislators. He lost in 2011 in a race against Virginia Perez. Alvarado has a record as a Very Lazy Elected Official in our view and is a Double Dipper, due to his having a Job in the City of Yonkers Parks Department as Director of Recreation in direct violation of the Westchester County Charter - 107.31 (4), where Westchester County Legislators are not allowed to have another Public Position, Very Interesting in our View and Very Important for the Voters to know that Fact. We don't need Elected Officials like Jose Alvarado, he is nothing more than a Paper Elected Official in our View and is nothing more than a Lapdog for the Political Establishment in Our Opinion.

London Reyes is running for this Seat for a 3rd Time, Question is what will be any different this time around? In our View, Mr. Reyes has not given a Rationale for him running in this race, that is our View and Opinion, He fancies himself as the Bernie Sanders of Yonkers, in Our View that isn't enough to get Someone Elected, Just Saying. We wish Mr. Reyes the best or luck in this race.

Now unto Former Westchester County Legislator Virginia Perez, who Served as a Westchester County Legislator for 8 Years and Served with Great Distinction in our View, She always worked so hard for her Extended Family and Her Extended Family has asked her to return and Virginia has answered, She is hoping to win the Seat, She Served so Proudly for 8 Years. Virginia's Only Bosses are Her Extended Family and Not the Political Establishment. She wants to continue the Work that was started while She was in Office for 8 Years. We at Yonkers Insider Strongly Support Her in this Bid to become Westchester County Legislator in the 17th District Again, She is truly the Representative that Southwest Yonkers needs on the Westchester County Board of Legislators. Virginia is head and shoulders above her 2 Male Democratic Party Opponents and It's not even close in our view. Virginia was a Great Elected Official, when She Served as County Legislator in our View, She was the Measuring Stick by which all other Elected Officials should be looked at and We feel that all other Elected Officials should follow the Virginia Perez Way of being an Elected Official in our View and Opinion.

Yonkers Insider Online Newspaper and It's Publisher Delfim Heusler has already Endorsed the Candidacy of Virginia Perez, Democrat for Westchester County Legislator in the 17th District.

Perez has beaten Both Reyes and Alvarado in Previous Races, She beat Jose in 2011 and Reyes in 2017.
