New Sidewalks, City Trees, Street Lighting & More Slated to Revitalize Yonkers Ave.

 

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, Councilman John Rubbo along with the Yonkers Engineering Department and other local officials will break ground Wednesday, June 9 at 12:00PM at Yonkers Ave. (at Belmont St.) on the city’s new streetscape improvement project.

 

The $1.3 million capital improvement project will revitalize pedestrian walkways and sidewalks along Yonkers Avenue between Central Park Orient Avenues.
