Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado of the 17th District after looking into this is shown to be a Double Dipper and in clear of Violation of the Westchester County Charter. The Westchester County Charter Clearly States in 107.31 (4) "A County Legislator shall not hold any other salaried or appointed Public Office during his Tenure".
County Legislator Alvarado holds A Position as Director of Recreation in the City of Yonkers Parks Department. Under the City Charter Section C2-4 Oath - "Every Person Elected or Appointed..... Shall take the Oath prescribed.....and file the same with the City Clerk. After Some looking into this issues it appears that Alvarado's Position with the City of Yonkers Qualifies as a Public Office under NYSLRS Definition of Public Officers.
Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado has some Absolute Explaining to do in My View on this Issue, He is a Clear Double Dipper and this is being done in clear violation of the Westchester County Charter by having his Position with the City of Yonkers as well. This took me time to do this Investigation and Expose this issue, which the Voters of the 17th District Need to know about.
The Power's that Be don't seem to want to hold Legislator Alvarado Accountable for this action. It is up to the Democratic Party Voters to hold Legislator Alvarado Accountable in the Democratic Party Primary for Westchester County Legislator in the 17th District.
Aren't we tired of Politicians like Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado? Now is the Chance to Vote him out! Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado Your Fired!
We need a Westchester County Legislator in the 17th District, who will follow The Westchester County Charter and Not Violate it in our View. Where are County Legislator Alvarado Colleagues on the Westchester County Board of Legislators on this issue too? Where's the Outrage? Enough is Enough and County Legislator Alvarado taking the Taxpayers to the Cleaners and getting paid twice - Once as a Westchester County Legislator and also as a Director of Recreations in the City of Yonkers Parks Department.
I feel in my Humble Opinion that the Taxpayers of Westchester County and Yonkers should File a Class Action Lawsuit against Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado for his actions and his Conduct of Double Dipping.
Luckily there are Options in the 17th County Legislative District Democratic Party Primary to finally Vote out County Legislator Jose Alvarado and those options are Former Westchester County Legislator Virginia Perez and Community Activist London Reyes.
I Highly Recommend and Endorse Returning Virginia Perez back to the Westchester County Legislature for the 17th District, Myself and My Online Paper have already Endorsed the Candidacy of Virginia Perez. We need Experience as the Next Westchester County Legislator in the 17th District and that is Virginia Perez. Rock the Vote for Virginia in Early Voting that Starts on June 12th till June 20th and then on Primary Day June 22nd.
