Greenburgh Insider: Vaccine pop up location: 100 Manhattan Ave--Friday.

We are focusing attention on zip codes with lowest vaccine participation. Don't be vaccine hesitant!

VACCINE POP UP LOCATION  FRIDAY MAY 14 FROM 2-8 PM IN THE COMMUNITY ROOM 100 MANHATTAN AVE IF YOU HAVEN'T TAKEN VACCINE.

We are focusing attention on zip codes with lowest percentage vaccine participation which include 10603

On Friday, May 14 from 2 to 8 pm in the Community Room at the 100 Manhattan Ave apartment complex, the Greenburgh Police EMS, Ossining Community Paramedicine Team and Greenburgh Police Community Affairs Division are partnering to administer 100 Moderna doses to anyone over the age of 18. If you have not yet received your vaccine, I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to protect yourself, your family, friends and neighbors.

In addition, we encourage you to help spread the news about the pop-up clinic. Tell your friends, neighbors, and people you see walking around that they can get the vaccine easily and quickly nearby on Friday. You can sign up at the Property Management Office at 100 Manhattan Avenue ahead of time, call 914-989-1770, email jrosenberg@greenburghny.com, or  just show up that day between 2 to 8 p.m.

The #VaxUpWestchester campaign, supported by my office and over 80 volunteers, is ramping up their efforts to encourage and facilitate vaccination county-wide for everyone eligible. They are planning many upcoming shot clinics and appointment/info booths all over the region, but the focus remains in zip codes with the lowest county vaccination rates, which include 10603 and 10607 at 39.6% vaccinated and 46.2% respectively. Comparing this to neighbors such as Irvington (62%) or Scarsdale (59.9%) shows we have more work to do to get our community on track to returning to normal life and livelihood as soon as possible.

We’d love to have you join our efforts as a #VaxUpWestchester ambassador to help in this ongoing effort to keep our community safe and healthy. If you’re interested in volunteering or learning more, visit vaxupwestchester.org, email vaxupwestchester@gmail.com, or call my office at 914.989.1540.

And we hope to see you on the 14th!

Paul Feiner
