This week I released my 2022 Executive Budget and presented it to the Yonkers City Council.

This budget is lean and honest. It contains a zero percent increase in the property tax levy, contains no reductions in City services, and, once again, provides the largest contribution to Yonkers Public Schools.

After a yearlong lockdown due to a global pandemic that crippled local businesses and employment, Yonkers has weathered the storm. My administration knew we needed to find a way to balance a budget with no cuts to city services while keeping in mind any increase in the tax levy would have placed additional burdens on our taxpayers. 

I am proud to say we have risen from the lockdown stronger than ever, and we are continuing to move Yonkers forward together.
