Westchester County Executive George Latimer Statement On Easter.
“While this is now the second consecutive Easter my brothers and sisters of the Christian faith will celebrate a different kind of Easter Sunday – the meaning of this most holy of days remains the same. Easter is a day for rebirth and renewal while rejoicing in the solace of sacrifice. This message is especially appropriate given the large sacrifices will have all had to make in order to protect ourselves and our loved ones during this global pandemic. But consistent with the message of Easter, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Through faith and dedication we can reach that light. Happy Easter to Westchester residents who celebrate.”
