CITY OF YONKERS TO HOST CENSUS CELEBRATION TO ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION IN THE  2020 CENSUS.

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano will host a Census Celebration with the Yonkers City Council and Yonkers Public Library at Elm Street Between Linden Street & Oak Street Saturday, August 22nd at 12PM to encourage participation in the 2020 Census.

The celebration will include LIVE Entertainment, free food, masks, hand sanitizer giveaway, and more!

Social distancing and face coverings will be required.

Members from the U.S. Census Bureau will also be present to conduct on-site registration and explain the critical importance of the 2020 Census. Currently, Yonkers has a 57% response rate to the 2020 Census.
