Dear Neighbor: In the meantime, the Board of Legislators will continue to provide constituent services for the residents of the district, including E-News, emails, and regular mail through the same avenues of communication. You will be receiving E-News from “District 13” instead of messages under now-Judge Williams' name. You can continue to call (914) 995-2837 with any questions or concerns. Lyndon Williams will be greatly missed at the Board of Legislators. He has been an important voice on crucial issues like criminal justice reform, economic development, tax relief for residents, housing, crime prevention, recreation, youth services, senior services, social justice, and Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises. His leadership, as a former Vice Chair and as Chairman of the Board's Law and Major Contract Committee earned him the respect and admiration of all of his colleagues. His departure is a loss for the BOL, but his appointment as City Court Judge is a great gain for the people of Mount Vernon, for whom he has always been a tireless advocate. | |
