Yonkers Insider: Yonkers Public Library.

YONKERS PUBLC LIBRARY IS SET TO REOPEN!!!
We are excited to announce Yonkers Public Library will reopen its building doors next Monday, July 13th!
Although this is an important milestone in the resumption of full library services, the reopened YPL will be very different than it was before closing. Please take a minute to learn more about our reopening here.
To keep the public and staff safe and healthy – so that the library can remain open – YPL has made changes to its physical facilities, operations, services, collections, technology and policies. Understanding these changes will help you have a better experience when you visit the library. Review YPL's Temporary Code of Conduct here.
Until the COVID-19 outbreak ends, we are reducing hours to allow us more time to keep our buildings and collections clean and safe. On Monday, July 13th, we will end contact-free pickup service at Riverfront Library and Will Library. Due to its limited size and the difficulty of instituting social distancing, the Crestwood Library’s in-branch hours will be greatly reduced but they will continue to offer additional contact-free pickup hours. The hours of service, effective July 13th and until further notice, are as follows:
Crestwood Library
Monday: 1-5pm (contact-free pickup only)
Tuesday: 3-7pm (in-branch service)
Wednesday: 10am-5pm (in-branch service 10am-2pm, contact free pickup 2pm-5pm)
Thursday: 1-5pm (contact-free pickup only)
Friday: 10am-5pm (contact-free pickup only)
Saturday: 1-5pm (in-branch service)
Riverfront Library
Monday-Thursday: 10am-7pm
Friday-Saturday: 12-5pm
Will Library
Monday-Thursday: 10am-7pm
Friday-Saturday: 12-5pm
Most important to note is that not all services, collections, or technology will be available on July 13th. You can view our phased reopening plan here.
Our reopening plans are responsive to local and state guidance and are subject to change.
