Yonkers Insider: News from Town of Greenburgh.
If you had the opportunity to hear John Lewis speak at a local or national event, , if you met him, if you participated in a March against racism that he organized - please share your thoughts. How did he inspire you?
The Greenburgh Town Board will have a moment of silence in his memory and will pay tribute to a the Conscience of the Congress who died yesterday. Many Greenburgh residents were active in the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s and may have participated in some of the Marches Congressman Lewis organized or spoke at.
