Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.



Friends,

I sincerely hope this message finds you well. Yonkers currently has 6,714 total cases. To put it into perspective, from last week to today, we have not seen a significant increase.

Since Yonkers falls within Westchester County, we will be entering phase one immediately once the County meets the Governor's seven-point plan, and we receive the green light from New York State.

Although we are eager to reopen, let's make no mistake, now is not the time to let up. We must stay the course and rise to the occasion.
