Information about the Westchester County Child Care Emergency Drop-in Center.
· The program, coordinated by the Office of the County Executive in partnership with DSS and the Westchester County Youth Bureau offers child care for children ages 4-12
· Children are able to participate in the online learning offered by their school while at the child care program.
· Hours are 9 – 5, Monday through Friday.
· We serve two meals plus one snack daily.
· All staff wear masks and practice social distancing. Everyone who comes into the facility must be masked and screened by our nurse.
· Originally it was for first responders and healthcare workers - now it is open to all essential employees
o transit workers, Postal carriers, grocery workers, delivery people, gas station attendants, construction workers – affordable housing sites, maintenance people, child care workers, group home attendants, home health aides
· The program has been extended until Friday, June 26.
