Statement from New York City Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
 
Today we remember the tragic events that unfolded on November 12, 2001. On this day Flight 587 in route to the Dominican Republic crashed in Queens, killing all 260 passengers aboard the aircraft. 

My condolences go out to all the family members and loved ones of those lost in the crash. Let us honor the lives and memories of all those that perished that day.
