Statement from Yonkers City Council, Majority Leader, Michael Sabatino, 3rd District.

Dear Friends,                           

Summer is here! Welcoming in summer also means that many of our Yonkers students are graduating from one scholastic adventure and will be diving right into another one before summer's end. This is a time to celebrate our Yonkers seniors from the different high schools in our great city who have earned the privilege of walking across their respective graduation stage to receive their diplomas. And for those seniors who will be entering college in a few months, I offer a special congratulations because you are about to embark on a journey that not all have the opportunity in which to participate. 

 

Congratulations to all of our Yonkers students graduating this graduation season. I hope you spend this summer productively, either working, studying, volunteering, or attending one of Yonkers' wonderful summer daytime youth programs, and we will see those beginning a new journey at the start of the school year in September.
