Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs died Monday in Texas, the team says. He was 27.
"Tyler has, and always will be, an important part of the Angels Family," the team said.
The Angels drafted Skaggs in 2009, according to his bio. He made his debut in 2012 and most recently pitched on Saturday.
The team's game Monday against the Texas Rangers has been postponed.
