We give out our annual award for A Portrait of Achivement to Yonkers Resident Brian Harrod, who does many kind deeds in the City of Yonkers and Brian has one of the best Facebook Groups that covers Yonkers and also has many other Groups that covers all other municipalities in this County of Westchester.
Brian gives of himself to the community by volunteering to help the people who are in need in our City on a Daily Basis. That should be applauded. Brian is a really good guy and is someone that I am proud and honored to call a friend of mine.
Brian Harrod is all things that a Hyperlocal News Reporter should be and also and even more important Brian is the kind of person that all of us should strive to be like and that is someone who cares about his community and also Brian cares so much about helping people in need and that he volunteers to try and make sure that even people who are in need, have a smile on their face.
