I’ll keep this short. This coming Monday at 11:59 p.m. is my campaign’s first fundraising deadline. These deadlines are important, because after Monday I will be disclosing publicly how much my campaign has raised.

Right or wrong, the strength of our campaign will be judged – at least in part – on our ability to fundraise. Even more importantly, I will need these funds over the last month of the primary campaign to reach out to Mt. Vernon’s electorate, share my message, and turn out the vote.
