Official Grand Opening Event Scheduled for Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 3 P.M.

In cooperation with Mayor’s Office of Yonkers, the official Grand Opening ribbon-cutting ceremony for the 9th Wonder Medicare Advisors storefront at 450 South Broadway will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 3pm.
The official Grand Opening will help create community awareness of the options available to the Medicare Recipients in the community. The majority of Medicare-eligible in our community qualify for additional help with their Medicare or prescription drug benefits, but few are aware of the help that is available, and need assistance to navigate through the system to apply for all of the benefits that are available to them. 9th Wonder Medicare Advisors provides this assistance to Medicare recipients at no cost and assists through every step of the process. This community service is especially relevant at this time of the year, as the Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare recipients to make their 2022 decisions ends on December 7th.
"We are a family business. My wife grew up in this community, and we are raising our son here. We are proud to be able to provide the service that we do, and we treat the seniors that visit us like family", said 9th Wonder Medicare Advisors co-founder Julio Alvarez.

The Board of Legislators will conduct a remote public hearing on the proposed Westchester County 2022 budgets on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 7 p.m.

The Board has re-established remote participation procedures for those who would like to speak during the hearing.
These procedures have been instituted to protect public health, pursuant to Chapter 417 of New York State Laws of 2021 -- which allows public bodies to meet and take action without permitting in-person public access and authorizes meetings and public hearings to be held remotely by conference call.

December 1st is a huge day in a historically horrific year. (Ironically just one day after #GivingTuesday)
The US Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, the most consequential abortion rights case in nearly 50 years. The future of abortion rights and access hangs in the balance.
Since January, there have been 561 abortion restrictions, including 165 abortion bans, introduced across 47 states (all courts current as of June 7, 2021.) A whopping 83 of those restrictions have been enacted across 16 states, including 10 bans.
