New York State is now hiring park rangers for the 2025 summer season. Park Rangers serve as ambassadors for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. They help oversee a variety of environments including campgrounds, tourist attractions, beaches, marinas, trails, park offices, and more. Park Ranger job duties range from responding to calls for assistance, to proactively engaging with visitors in the parks and helping to maintain a safe environment for all.
