Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 

Dear Neighbor, This week, we lost one of the most passionate, diligent, kind people to have ever graced City Hall. Lucia Trovato was devoted to the City of Yonkers for more than four decades. She was responsible for Mayoral proclamations, planning city-wide events and worked tirelessly to honor the people and culture of Yonkers. She shied away from being given credit for anything she would do. She had the knack of being so thoughtful and caring while always speaking her mind. She will be sorely missed by all of us.
