On Tuesday September 17, 2024, the Yonkers City Council held a Legislation & Codes Committee meeting as well as a Rules Committee meeting. All items on the agendas appear below, as well as the decisions taken by the City Council in regard to these items. 

Legislation & Codes Committee Meeting 1. General Ordinance amending Chapter 43 of the Code of the City of Yonkers entitled “Zoning” in regards to Senior Citizen Housing Parking Requirements. (Moved to Rules Committee agenda for September 17, 2024)   2. General Ordinance amending Chapter 43 of the Code of the City of Yonkers entitled “Zoning” in relation to electric vehicle charging stations (Moved to Rules Committee agenda for September 17, 2024)   Rules Committee Meeting Items for Consideration – Administration   1. Resolution – to issue a revised determination of significance pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”) relating to water system improvements.
