Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers City Councilwoman Corazon Pineda Issac 2nd District.

 




This weekend, Yonkers will host the 2nd annual Dominican Festival in downtown Yonkers. Expect great music, exceptional food, and of course a sense of community and comradery that will turn downtown Yonkers into a cultural celebration of everything Dominican. Please be sure to stop by! It will take place tomorrow, August 24th, from 1:00-7:00pm on Main Street.


Please note that there will be street closings to accommodate the festival.

Starting at 9am, the following streets will be closed:


  • Main Street to Warburton Avenue and Riverdale Avenue to Buena Vista Avenue and Main Street


  • Market Place between Main Street and Nepperhan Street.
