Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers City Councilwoman Corazon Pineda Issac 2nd District.

 




This weekend is a big weekend here in Yonkers, with our 11th annual ALS Ice Bucket Challenge taking place tomorrow, August 3rd, at Empire City Casino.


This event is a testament to the compassion and solidarity of our residents as we come together to raise awareness and funds for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) research. By taking part in this challenge, we honor those affected by ALS and contribute to the vital efforts needed to find a cure. I encourage everyone in Yonkers to join us, support this cause, and make a meaningful impact. Together, we can turn the tide against ALS. The QR code for registration & additional details is below.
