Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 


Dear Neighbors,


We are approaching the start of the new school year. This year, we will open two new schools within the district, The Justice Sonia Sotomayor Community School and the Robert Halmi, Sr. Academy of Film and Television. We want to keep our students on task in the classroom and give them opportunity to develop their skills into a potential career they will love.


I encourage you to help our students succeed this academic year by donating backpacks and supplies. You can donate at any of our police precincts or libraries. We'll be accepting donations through Sunday, August 18.
