Yonkers Insider: New York State Assemblywoman MaryJane Shimsky 92nd District: National Night Out - Tuesday, August 6.

 


National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Held in all 50 states, U.S. territories, and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

I hope you'll be able to join one of the free National Night Out events taking place in our area next Tuesday, August 6.

Greenburgh - 6-9 PM at Greenburgh Town Hall, Fairview.

Mount Pleasant - 4:40-8 PM at Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla.

Yonkers - 5-9 PM at the JFK Marina, Glenwood.
