Three Mobile Tax Offices to Open July 30 – August 1 Providing Easier Method for Yonkers Residents to Pay City Property Taxes.
YONKERS, NY – July 9, 2024 – Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano today announced the upcoming schedule for the City’s Mobile Tax Office locations. Staff members from the Finance, Assessment, and Constituent Services departments will be in attendance to collect property taxes, water bill payments, and answer any questions on Tuesday, July 30, from 9AM to 7PM at Coyne Park/Bernice Spreckman Community Center (777 McLean Ave.); Wednesday, July 31, from 9AM to 6:30PM at the Homefield House (911 Saw Mill River Rd.) and Thursday, August 1, from 9AM to 7PM at Grinton I. Will Library (1500 Central Park Ave.). The first installment for the 2025 City property tax is due Friday, August 2.
“To help residents access city services and pay their property taxes or water bill more easily, I am making the Mobile Tax Offices available to all residents once again. I encourage those in need of help with any problem or need access to a location close to home in their neighborhood to stop by any of the three locations,” said Mayor Mike Spano
