Due to the unfavorable weather predictions for tomorrow, Sunday, June 9th, our show committee has elected to move the show to the advertised rain date of Saturday, June 15th.
The Yonkers Rotary Charity Car Show was created with a mission to support local trade students who wish to continue their education in an automotive college or tech school.
The concept stemmed from an idea from two Rotarians: a high school automotive instructor and a mom whose son attended an automotive college. Both realize the exuberant costs of tools that automotive students are required to purchase before attending classes.
Depending on the course or school, the tools range from $4000 to $7000
The event is open to the public and costs zero for spectators. The Rotary Club of Yonkers East Yonkers Foundation is a 501c3 Not-for-Profit organization.
