Dear Friends,
I am disappointed, but not disheartened, by the results. I ran because I thought presenting a different way of thinking about public safety was important. The status quo has failed to provide our citizens the measure of safety and justice they deserve.
I am energized by the support my vision for a reimagined criminal legal system has received from around our region. I am grateful to my family, friends, supporters, and my team for their faith, hard work, and dedication during this effort. We ran a positive campaign on the issues and provided voters with tangible policies.
I will continue to join my voice with my fellow citizens in seeking our Government’s betterment.
I am looking forward to spending time with my family, particularly my newborn son; they have made the ultimate sacrifice so that I might live in my purpose.
I am a very lucky man.
With gratitude, |
