Dear Friends,
Today, we celebrate the importance of mothers in our lives and express gratitude to the women who care for us and shape our values.
As our three children have grown into adults, I am amazed and inspired by my wife Mary's kindness and encouragement. She is a wonderful mother to our children.
This year is a solemn one for my family and me. It will be our first Mother's Day without mom. Although she is not here physically, she remains in all of our hearts. I remember fondly, even as adults, she used to give us all Easter baskets. It gives me comfort to know she is reunited with our dad and they are both watching over us.
To all the mothers in heaven, on earth, and mothers-at-heart, thank you for your care, kindness, and compassion.
