Budget negotiations in Albany have run past the original April 1 deadline, and we have passed extenders to ensure that government continues to function in the interim. It now appears that we may vote on the final budget bills this weekend. Given that, I look forward to having details to share next week on the funding and legislative initiatives enacted in the Fiscal Year 2024-25 State Budget.
I thank all the constituents who have taken the time to communicate with my office about the issues and priorities at stake. I will continue to share your input with my colleagues in the Assembly.
