Sandy's dedication to the Yonkers Public Library spans back to 1993, where he began his journey managing the Grinton I. Will Library and Crestwood Library before assuming his current role at the Riverfront Library. His commitment to public service and engagement is unparalleled, as evidenced by his record-breaking library card sign-ups in a single day. He is also a trailblazer as the first President of the Ghanaian Librarian Association, showcasing his leadership and dedication to promoting literacy and education.
Beyond his library work, Sandy generously volunteers his time to numerous community organizations, including the Salvation Army, East Yonkers Rotary International, and St. Peter's Day Care Advisory Board, among others. His commitment to community service is truly inspiring and has made a lasting impact on countless lives.
