The Senate and Assembly have passed my September 11 Victim Compensation Fund and World Trade Center Health Program Notice Act (A75-B/S2946-B) I have worked relentlessly to pass this legislation because so many New Yorkers who were exposed to toxins when they returned to lower Manhattan after the 911 attack were not aware of eligability and therefore have not applied for support from the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund and World Trade Center Health Program.

It requires businesses and institutions that had people return after the attack to notify them with information about their eligibility for financial support and health care treatment and benefits from the Victims Compensation Fund and World Trade Center Health Fund.
