Yonkers Insider: New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh 90th District.


A member of the Assembly Education Committee, Assemblyman Sayegh reviews legislation he has introduced with representatives of NYSUT - A Union of Professionals - Mike Ciriello, Florence McCue, Samantha Rosado-Ciriello & Martin Sommers. The bills include a program to encourage high school students to go to college for teaching degrees and return to their home districts, and require the State Education Department to use current US Census Data. Currently the 2000 Census is used.
