On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the Yonkers City Council held a Rules Committee Meeting. All items on the agenda appear below, as well as the decisions taken by the City Council in regard to these items.

Rules Committee Agenda Items for Consideration by Administration 1. Resolution – authorizing City of Yonkers to seek review of Fiscal Year 2023 New York City Water Rates by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. (No Fiscal Impact.) Resolution – approving Inter-Municipal Agreements between the City of Yonkers and the County of Westchester regarding Bus Shelters within the City of Yonkers. (Positive Fiscal Impact.) Resolution –approving an Agreement between the City of Yonkers and the Yonkers Police Captains, Lieutenants and Sergeants Benevolent Association. (Negative Fiscal Impact.) General Ordinance amending General Ordinance No.4-2000, also known as Chapter 43 of the Zoning Code of the City of Yonkers, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Yonkers, and the accompanying zoning map by amending said map by changing the zone classification of 21 Scarsdale Road, also known as Section 4, Block 4544, Lot 1, as shown and designated on the official tax map of the City of Yonkers, from the current “I” zone district classification to an “A” zone district classification (Moved to Stated City Council meeting agenda for April 11, 2023)   2. Resolution of the City Council urging the New York State Assembly and the New York State Senate to pass legislation to create a Housing Access Voucher program, and for Governor Hochul to sign the legislation into law (Moved to Stated City Council meeting agenda for April 11, 2023)   3.
