BRONXVILLE, NY, March 13^th, 2023 – Former County Legislator Ruth Walter is calling for the County Executive and Board of Legislators to expedite the installation a bus shelter at the Sadore Lane & Central Park Ave bus stop to improve the comfort and accessibility of the Bee Line for Westchester residents.

“Many of our residents depend on the Bee Line to make their way around Westchester, especially some of our senior residents,” explained Ruth Walter. “This stop disproportionally serves senior residents on Sadore Lane who may not be able to wait in the rain or snow for their bus, so it is imperative for a bus shelter to be installed to improve the quality of life for all. I urge County Leadership to make this a priority.”

This request comes at the urging of many residents who have reached out and expressed interest in improving the quality of service of the Bee Line bus service. Quality of life issues such as this will be a priority for Ruth Walter when elected back to the Board of Legislators.
