Yonkers Insider: From New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh 90th District.

 


Assemblyman Sayegh supports a $1.5 Billion allocation in the State Budget that Includes:

- $500 million for Foundation For Futures

- $385 million for Rental Arrears Assistance

- $250 million for Housing Voucher Assistance Program

- $250 million for Homeownership Funds

- $100 million for First Time Homeowner Assistance

Assemblyman Sayegh strongly opposes any State Zoning Take Over, opposes forcing development near Metro North Stations and supports State financial support for additional housing that meets local zoning regulations. Assemblyman Sayegh takes the lead to have the Assembly Budget Proposal reject the plan to negatively impact Single Family Zone neighborhoods.
