There had been rumors about Ron Matten mounting a Candidacy in this race. It was Announced that Matten has already endorsed the Candidacy of Schutte in this race.

Petition Period to get on the ballot goes from now till April 6th with Republican Candidates needing a Minimum of 291 Signatures to make the Ballot. We will keep our readers posted on this race. Yonkers Democrats don't have a candidate at the moment, but that can change due to Petition Process just beginning.
