Eugenio María DeHostos MicroSociety School joins the biggest reading celebration in the nation. The National Education Association’s annual Read Across America Day provides an opportunity to motivate EVERY child in EVERY community to read on Dr. Seuss’s birthday. The entire school is transformed into a reading party. Parents, invited guests, and community members will read aloud to students to help them recognize the importance of reading as a lifelong learner as well reading for enjoyment.
