YPD Safety Alert - Police activity area 354 Nepperhan Avenue.

02/09/23 Yonkers, NY - Members of the Yonkers Police Department and Westchester County Department of Public Safety are presently engaged in police activity in the area of 354 Nepperhan Avenue. NYPD reported a car-jacking in the Bronx; the suspect was tracked into the City of Yonkers and placed into custody. There is no danger to public safety.

Social media reports of shots having been fired are false. Additional information may be released by the NYPD and or Westchester County Police.
