Yonkers Democratic City Committee met tonight to Nominate their Candidates for this Year. We have learned via our Sources: Party Endorsed Westchester County Legislator David Tubiolo in the 14th District.
In 15th District Mark Fang decided not to run, so Ruth Walter got backed by Yonkers Dems tonight. Though There are sources who tell Yonkers Insider that some names are being mentioned as possible candidates to primary, we shall see.
In the past, let's not forget some candidates haven't announced but collected the signatures needed to make the ballot so stay tuned. Petitioning starts on February 28th and goes till April 6th for Candidates to collect signatures to make the Ballot.
In the 16th County Legislative District, Shanae Williams gets endorsement of Yonkers Dems over Westchester County Legislator Chris Johnson.
Yonkers Democrats Endorsed Yonkers City Council Majority Leader Tasha Diaz in the 3rd District for Re-Election. According to my sources, She will likely face a Primary in this Election Cycle. Stay tuned to Yonkers Insider for the latest on the Elections in 2023.
