Congratulations to Yonkers native Brian Sweeney, who was recently named the pitching coach for the KC Royals. Brian played for the North Yonkers Boys & Girls Club and Yonkers PAL baseball when he was a young boy.
He worked his way up the ranks for different Major League Baseball teams, as a pitcher and a coach before being named the pitching coach for KC.
