This week, I was pleased to meet with Abe Hattar of the Westchester Owners Association as we discussed a variety of issues related to the state of housing in our community.
While I support emphatically efforts to increase the housing supply in our City, County and Region, I am opposed to any plan which upends the local zoning structure that determines where housing is developed and how it is developed. I will continue to support efforts to responsibly increase our housing supply in a manner that is consistent with community consensus from our residential stakeholders.
