Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 

Dear Friends, We began the week reflecting on the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I was proud to see so many of our neighbors, children, families, and first responders participate in a Day of Service in tribute to his life. It's important to remember his message and mission and how it continues to resonate today. There are many opportunities for our young people, the next generation of our great City, to get involved in service. This weekend, we also usher in the Year of the Rabbit. To our local families celebrating the Lunar New Year on Sunday and welcoming the Year of the Rabbit, I wish you joy, hope, and prosperity. Have a great weekend! MIKE SPANO Mayor
