Earlier this week Assemblyman Sayegh issued a statement of support for the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) as it sought new contracts for its members at Montefiore in the Bronx and Mount Sinai in Manhattan. Thursday morning, the nurses were back caring for patients with a new labor agreement that includes enforceable safe staffing nurse to patient ratios. I'm proud to support our friends in organized labor and commend them for their successful resolution to this labor dispute.
