This week the Senate and Assembly returned to the State Capitol to formally beginning of the 246th Session of the State Legislature.

Yonkers has powerful voices in the Legislature!

Yonkers State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins continues as the Majority Leader of the State Senate. Senator Shelley Mayer continues as Chair of the Senate Education Committee. My colleague J. Gary Pretlow continues as Chair of the Assembly Racing and Wagering Committee.



Additionally, Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie has named me, Vice-Chair of the Assembly Democratic Conference Steering Committee. I thank the Speaker for his confidence in me and look forward to being a part of the Assembly Majority Leadership Team.
