Working with Office of Governor Kathy Hochul, Assemblyman Sayegh brought amendments to his power restoration legislation to the Assembly where they were approved. During a widespread power outage utilities must pay attention to outages longer than 24 hours at the Headaquarters of First Responders.
Additonally, residents who need power to maintain life-saving medical equipment, require priority as well.
