The official dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony of the Barack Obama School for Social Justice, formerly Palisade Prep, took place on November 3, 2022. How fitting it is to have a school named in Yonkers after President Obama considering how significant of an impact his "My Brother’s Keeper" program is making on Yonkers Public School students.
